The work and website of CEMR related to twinning

The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) is the oldest and broadest European association of local and regional governments. It is an organization that brings together 60 national associations of local and regional governments from 42 European countries and represents, through them, all levels of territories – local, intermediate and regional, all together 150000 local and territorial local governments.

CEMR puts a special emphasis on the twinning relations of local and territorial local governments, it manages a website where it provides various useful information related to the establishment of twinning relations.
